I would like to inaugurate this blog with a positive thought and hope: in every moment our wonderful body, made up of trillions and trillions of cells, brings into being hundreds and hundreds of chemical and enzymatic reactions to enable us to do all that to us seems normal : to speak, move, interact, etc ...
Why then has the health of the human race (and even that of our pets!) deteriorated so heavily in the last hundred years?
Degenerative diseases, diabetes, cancer, depression are now "ruling", and the golden years (if not before) have become synonymous with illness and degeneration.
Often we forget that our body needs to be fed with the fuel which is most congenial to it, and doesn't resemble a latrine that can be filled with garbage without suffering the consequences.
Each of us chooses carefully which oil needs to be put in our cars, but we don't think twice about gorging ourselves with all the available crap, heedless of the damage we are doing to our body.
We are a perfect machine, provided that we follow the laws of Mother Nature.
